Scores and League Standings
Created in Australia in the 1970’s, indoor cricket is a fast paced indoor version of cricket played in netted enclosures. This version of the game is very inclusive of all athletic abilities and the rules are similar to the outdoor game. Every player has time on the field and everyone has an opportunity to bat!
- Games last for 70 minutes
- 8 players per side
- 16 overs per game
- 1 over = 6 balls
- Each batting pair bats for 4 overs and every bowler bowls 2 overs
- Non-facer stands at the running crease
- 5 runs are removed from team total for every out
- 3rd ball enforced – when there are 2 non-scoring deliveries in a row, batter must run on the 3rd delivery
- Team with highest score, WINS!
